āshiqī ke āshkāre ho chuke
husn-e-yaktā ke pukāre ho chuke
uTh gayā parda jo fī-mābain thā
mann-o-tū ke the ishāre ho chuke
hai bahār-e-gulshan-e-duniyā do roz
bulbul-o-gul ke nazāre ho chuke
chal diye uTh kar jahāñ chāhe vahāñ

yaas se kah deñge vaqt-e-qatl ham

vāsil-e-dariyā jo qatra ho gayā
